Bausch & Lomb asks for revisions to AMO proposal

(Reuters) - Bausch & Lomb plans to be bought by Warburg Pincus for $3.67 billion.



In the letter, Bausch & Lomb said without the revisions, AMO's offer "would not be likely to result in a Superior Proposal."

Bausch seems to have no faith in AAMO. I think that the rejection has more to do with Bausch's strong connections to Warburg than the actual size of the offer.
