(Bloomberg) -- South Korea's Kospi index advanced.
LG.Philips LCD Co. gained after Shinyoung Securities Co. said the
company's second-quarter earnings will jump on higher panel prices.
``The market is showing a little rebound today after a recent
correction period,'' said Seo Jung Ho, who manages $540 million at
Daehan Investment Trust Management Co. in Seoul. ``There will be
more ups and downs for the time being before companies announce
their second-quarter earnings starting this month.''
